ScholarOne transcodes submitted articles and thus ensures that they do not contain identification information in their properties. It does not do so for supplementary files. Authors must, therefore, ensure the anonymity of their supplementary files. 

Before you upload such documents, check their properties to make sure that they do not identify you. You can easily find instructions for this procedure online. They vary from application to application.
