WCIS Graduate Student Best Paper Award

General Information

Purpose

  • WCIS seeks to acknowledge the best graduate student paper presented at the ISA Annual Convention.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The Women’s Caucus is seeking nominations for the WCIS Best Graduate Student Paper Award that was accepted for presentation at the 2020 ISA Annual Convention. 

Prize

  • $500 Cash Prize + $200 Travel Support to attend the ISA Annual Convention

Selection Process

  • Beginning in April, WCIS Awards and Elections Coordinator sends out an announcement via ISA.
  • The announcement for the WCIS Graduate Student Best Paper Award welcomes nominations and self-nominations until June 1st.
  • Members of the WCIS Executive Committee review the nominated papers and select the winner.
  • Winners are recognized at the ISA Annual Convention. Winners who are unable to attend the ISA Annual Convention will be recognized and awarded in absentia.

  • Submissions should be made via email to the WCIS Awards and Elections Coordinator, Srobana Bhattacharya
  • Nominations should be submitted in PDF format
