Rosenau Post-Doc Fellowship Recipient

The International Studies Association is pleased to announce that Peter Dixon is the recipient of the 2016-2017 James N. Rosenau Post-Doctoral Fellowship. The Rosenau Fellowship will allow Dr. Dixon to spend the academic year further developing his research agenda, as well as collaborating with ISA HQ on a number of projects.

Hong Kong 2017 Update

We are delighted by the overwhelming response for the 2017 International Conference! With more than 1000 paper, panel, innovative, and roundtable proposals, and over 1400 individuals from 66 countries, our program team has a extraordinary job ahead of them. To be held in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Department of Politics and Public Administration at Hong Kong University, the conference coincides with the Faculty's 50th Anniversary and promises to be an enriching and memorable experience.

Call for Applications: 2017-2018 Rosenau Post-Doctoral Fellowship

ISA invites applications from junior scholars for the James N. Rosenau Postdoctoral Fellowship. The competition is open to scholars in the social sciences and humanities who have received their Ph.D. within the past two years, that is, between July 1, 2015 and July 1, 2017. The deadline for applications is November 1, 2016.

ISA and CEEISA were pleased to hold the first academic roundtable on the topic of Brexit at our Joint International Conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia in June, 2016. An online symposium continuing the conversation has been published in E-International Relations.

Call - ISA's Got Talent

As instructors, IR scholars sometimes have trouble getting students interested in more mundane IR topics and a lot of those troubles stem from delivery tactics. ISA’s Got Talent takes this problem to the extreme and asks participants to concentrate specifically on the delivery of their material, which may range from hip-hop to opera, or even poetry and character dialogue. The deadline for auditions for this ISA 2017 Innovative Panel is January 1, 2017.
