Call for At-Large Representative Nominations

The ISA Nominating Committee invites nominations for offices of President, Vice President and Treasurer, and especially for At-Large Representative for 2018-2019. ISA seeks candidates with professional distinction and past involvement in (and knowledge of) ISA, and is strongly committed to diversity in its officers. The nomination deadline is June 15, 2016.

ISR: Call for Applications

The Publications Committee of the International Studies Association along with the Association's Executive Committee will make a recommendation to the organization's Governing Council regarding the assignment of editorial duties for International Studies Review at the 2017 Annual Meeting in Baltimore. Applications should be received no later than September 15, 2016.

Call for Proposals: Transforming International Studies' Professional Culture

Following years of activism around issues of discrimination, harassment, and assault within the academy at large, and within the ISA as a leading professional organization, a series of ten panels at the 2017 ISA Annual Convention in Baltimore aims to confront systemic discrimination, violent practices, and a culture of indifference and complicity that has allowed these problems to persist. The deadline to submit proposals is June 20, 2016.

ISA Headquarters is excited by the strong response from both members and non-members to the ISA 2017 Call for Proposals! We have received a nearly record-high number of submissions - 5,337 proposals submitted and 7,943 unique participants on submissions.
