ISA Public Statements

ISA has recently released two public statements regarding cases that were brought to the attention of the Academic Freedom Committee:

ISR: Call for Applications

The Publications Committee of the International Studies Association along with the Association's Executive Committee will make a recommendation to the organization's Governing Council regarding the assignment of editorial duties for International Studies Review at the 2017 Annual Meeting in Baltimore. Applications should be received no later than September 15, 2016.

The International Studies Association-Midwest Region invites proposals for papers, panels, and roundtables for their 2016 annual conference, November 18th-19th, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. The proposal submission deadline is July 13, 2016.

The Ethnicity, Nationalism and Migration Section (ENMISA) Martin O. Heisler Award Selection Committee invites nominations and submissions for the section's annual graduate student paper competition. A nomination letter, abstract, and an electronic copy of the paper should be sent via email by August 15, 2016 to each committee member.

Posen, Ford International Professor of Political Science and Director of the Security Studies Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has been named the 2017 recipient of the International Security Studies Section (ISSS) Distinguished Scholar Award.
