Group rate hotel rooms are almost sold out at our co-headquarters hotel, the Sheraton Atlanta. Be sure to reserve soon, before our group block is full - reservations are available until February 12th, 2016 or until sold out.

Paper Archive Open - Upload Your Paper Today!

ISA policy requires a paper to be uploaded no later than five business days before the conference, but, we ask that you try to have a PDF uploaded no later March 7th (February 15th for JSS papers) to give your discussant time to read your work. Note that ISA only accepts PDF files less than 10mb in size.

CISS invites proposal submissions for the ISA-CISS Conference, which will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece on June 13-15, 2016. The conference theme is "Boundaries and Borders in an Evolving World Order: Challenges and Prospects". The deadline for submissions is February 10, 2016.

ISA-HR will take place in New York City on June 13-15, 2016. In order to confirm participation on the program, participants must register by February 1, 2016.

The program for the CEEISA-ISA 2016 conference, which will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia from June 23-25, 2016, will be announced later this week. Registration opens shortly, with special discounts for CEEISA and ISA members. We look forward to seeing you in Ljubljana!

Meet your ISA:
Ethnicity, Nationalism & Migration Studies Section (ENMISA)

ENMISA is a section of scholars interested in a variety of issues related to Ethnicity, Nationalism, and Migration, and would like to develop better communications among people with similar interests. They vary widely in their theoretical approaches, methodologies and empirical interests, but they share a common desire to work together on issues that are becoming more important in both the domestic politics of many countries and in their international relations.
