ISA 2017 Panel Proposal: The Political Economy of Energy Transitions and the Future of Fossil Fuels

Current transitions in global energy markets profoundly affect a wide range of social, political and economic affairs that shape international relations. IPE Outstanding Activist Scholar Award

Margaret Levi will be honoured as the IPE section's 2016 Outstanding Activist Scholar in Atlanta. The panel at which she will speak is on Friday March 18th from 1:45pm-3:30pm in Salon A in the Hilton Atlanta. The session will be co-chaired by Hasmet M. Uluorta and Andrej Grubacic.

The IPE Section is pleased to announce that Angela Davis will be honored as the section’s 2015 Outstanding Activist Scholar at the upcoming ISA Annual Convention in New Orleans. The panel is on Friday February 20th from 1:45pm-3:30pm in the Napoleon Ballroom in the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

IPE Announces Award Winner

ISA members are encouraged to join us during the ISA Annual Convention in a session to honour Naomi Klein, recipient of the 2014 IPE Outstanding Activist-Scholar award. Naomi is being honoured for her activism in alter-globalizations social movements and protests.
