ISA South Charlotte 2013


ISA South 2013 Business Meeting

Scholars from across the ISA-South region and beyond are convening next week at Queens University in Charlotte, NC for our annual conference.  On Saturday, October 19 at 5:30 pm, we will hold the ISA-S region business meeting.  At the meeting we will review the "state of the region" and discuss region-relevant matters, including the location of future conferences.  If you have an item to include on the business meeting agenda, please send it to me at

ISA South 2013 Keynote Announced: David Baxter

We hope you'll join us Saturday, October 19, 12:15p-2:00p for our Luncheon and Keynote Address. David Baxter will be speaking on  "Public Private Partnerships in Southern Africa – A Perspective on their Evolution and Implementation."



ISA South 2013 - Winkates Grad Student Award Deadline

Reminder: Jim Winkates Graduate Student Paper Award deadline is Friday, September 27th. For details on the award and submission procedures go to the Winkates Award page.



ISA South 2013 - Last Day to Register & Remain on the Program!

ISA South's early registration period ends today. Additionally, if you are on the program, you must register by September 20th to remain on the conference program. 



ISA South 2013 Upcoming Deadlines

September 20th!  You must register by Friday, September 20th, to receive the discounted early registration fee. Additionally, if you are on the program, you must register by September 20th to remain on the conference program.

September 28th! We have a limited number of hotel rooms still available at a discounted rate for conference attendees at the nearby DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Charlotte. The group rate will be available until September 28th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.
