Global Studies Quarterly special issue call for papers: Cruelty and Global Politics

The editors of Global Studies Quarterly invite submissions for a special issue on the topic of cruelty and global politics, with a focus on cruelty’s connections with, and as a manifestation of, global injustice and inequality. Interested authors should submit their 300-word abstracts to gsq@utah.edu by February 15, 2021. Successful proposals will be notified by March 1, 2021. Full papers of 8-10,000 words should be submitted for peer review by July 1, 2021.

Second Call: International Studies Perspectives “Twitter Takeover” Initiative

International Studies Perspectives is pleased to announce a second call for applications to our Twitter Takeover initiative. At regular intervals throughout the year, ISP intends to hand over the use of our Twitter platform to elevate Black, minority, and under-represented voices in our discipline in order to share research, spotlight the work of others, and share insights on and raise awareness of antiracism, diversity, fairness, and inclusiveness in international studies. If you are interested in participating in this initiative, email us at ISP@tcu.edu. We are reviewing applications for the next takeover through January 15.

ISA 2022-2023 Officer Election Results
