ISA Toronto Visa Denial Reimbursement Fund

ISA pilot fund for the 2019 Toronto Convention allowing for partial reimbursement of ISA members who were left out of pocket when a travel visa was denied/not received. To be eligible for partial reimbursement, individuals need to meet at least the following requirements:

DEADLINE EXTENSION Call for Applications: Editor(s), Oxford Research Encyclopedia of International Studies (OREIS)

The Publications Committee of the International Studies Association (ISA) and the Executive Committee will make a recommendation to the ISA Governing Council regarding the assignment of editorial duties for Oxford Research Encyclopedia of International Studies ( at the 2019 annual meeting in Toronto. The individual or team selected to serve as editor(s) of OREIS will hold that position for a five-year term January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2024. There will also be some transitional duties during late 2019.

ISA offers several awards given to recognize outstanding scholarly contributions to the field of international studies. These awards have different committees, nominating procedures and submission deadlines. They recognize outstanding papers, books, achievement, and service awards.
