Announcing a New ISA Virtual Initiative

We recently asked ISA members to take part in a virtual engagement survey. The results indicated that membership would like to see more virtual programming offered throughout the year. The ISA Headquarters is excited to announce a new initiative that will provide our sub-units (Committees, Sections, Caucuses, and Regions) and our partner organizations the opportunity to showcase the valuable work they do for the Association and allow our members to share their expertise on both academic and professional development matters. This Virtual Content initiative will include monthly live events and video and/or audio recordings that will be placed in our online platforms. If you want to be involved in any of these events or have ideas for more, please let Lembe Tiky know: lembe.tiky@isanet.org. Stay tuned and get ready to jump on board!

Second Call: International Studies Perspectives “Twitter Takeover” Initiative

International Studies Perspectives is pleased to announce a second call for applications to our Twitter Takeover initiative. At regular intervals throughout the year, ISP intends to hand over the use of our Twitter platform to elevate Black, minority, and under-represented voices in our discipline in order to share research, spotlight the work of others, and share insights on and raise awareness of antiracism, diversity, fairness, and inclusiveness in international studies. If you are interested in participating in this initiative, email us at ISP@tcu.edu. We are reviewing applications for the next takeover through January 15.
