ISA-Midwest 2016 Conference - Registration Reminder

We look forward to your participation in the 2016 ISA-Midwest conference, Nov 18-19 in St. Louis. Please remember to register (if you haven't already) by October 14 to stay on the program. 



ISA-Hong Kong 2017 Travel Grants

ISA is pleased to provide travel assistance to eligible attendees of our ISA Hong Kong 2017 International Conference. The deadline to apply for travel grants is November 23, 2016 (please note: the deadline for applications is before the preliminary program will be released). No late applications will be accepted.



ISA-South Jim Winkates Graduate Student Paper Award

The ISA-South conference organizers would like to extend a special invitation to student participants. Graduate students are encouraged to submit paper proposals and, if accepted, to compete in the ISA-South Jim Winkates Graduate Student Paper Competition (deadline September 24th).

Can you offer a way to resolve the Syrian Civil War? Stepping into the shoes of key decision-makers in a simulation provides a unique opportunity to implement your plan and become part of an active learning community. The World Politics Simulation Project offers ISA members an informative and enjoyable way to network on Facebook with colleagues across the globe before the 2017 ISA convention and to meet during twin innovative panels in Baltimore.



ISA Statement Regarding Academic Freedom of Dr. Simona Sharoni

The International Studies Association (ISA) has issued a public statement in support of Dr. Simona Sharoni as a result of recent threats to her academic freedom. The letter of support, sent to John Ettling, President of SUNY Plattsburg, can be found below:



ISA-West 2016 - Happy Hour Invitation

ISA-West 2016 attendees are cordially invited to attend a casual happy hour in the Westin courtyard Saturday evening beginning at 5:30. The region business meeting runs from 5:30-6:30 so those attending will join in the courtyard when the meeting ends.
