ISA-West Pasadena 2018: Call for Proposals

The International Studies Association West region is pleased to announce our 2018 annual conference, September 21st-22nd, in Pasadena, California, USA. ISA-West invites paper, panel and roundtable proposals on any subject related to international studies, broadly defined. This year's conference theme is "Breaking Down Barriers, Dismantling Walls." We strongly encourage paper, panel and roundtable proposals on subjects related to this theme. The deadline for paper/panel submissions is June 15, 2018.

Pay It Forward Is Now Accepting Applications!

We welcome applications from early career scholars who want to take part in ISA’s sixth annual Pay It Forward (PIF) workshop. PIF is a unique mentorship program directed toward women graduate students and junior faculty that takes place the day before the Annual Convention. At the workshop, participants engage with senior women faculty who facilitate the workshop by providing guidance on a variety of topics, such as securing employment, publishing, tenure, promotion, and work-life balance, among others. The International Studies Association-South invites proposals for papers, panels, and roundtables on any subjects related to international studies, broadly defined, for its annual meeting. The conference will be held October 12th - 13th at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, USA. The deadline for paper and panel submissions for the ISA-South conference is Friday, July 6th.

The International Studies Association-Northeast Region invites proposals for papers, panels, and roundtables on any subjects related to international studies, broadly defined, for its annual meeting.  The conference will be held November 2-3 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Baltimore, MD, USA.  The deadline for paper and panel submissions for the ISA-Northeast conference is Sunday, June 24th.

The Academic Freedom Committee has a number of panel slots at the 2019 ISA annual meeting. We would be interested in any ideas or suggestions that ISA members may have for panel or roundtable proposals, and we welcome proposals for consideration by the committee.
