Thank You for Joining us in San Francisco!

It was wonderful to see so many of you at the 2018 ISA annual convention in San Francisco. We had excellent intellectual exchange centered around our theme, “Power of Rules and Rule of Power”, and around the interests of our many sections, caucuses, and affiliate groups.



Call for Proposals: ISA Toronto 2019

ISA is pleased to announce our Call for Proposals for our 2019 Annual Convention in Toronto, Ontario, Canada! ISA Toronto 2019 seeks paper, panel and roundtable submissions related to all areas of international studies and world politics.



ISA Call for Officer Nominations

The International Studies Association Nominating Committee invites members of the association to nominate candidates to be considered for offices for 2020-2021, including a president, three vice-presidents, a treasurer, and three At-Large Representative on the ISA Governing Council. The deadline for nominations is June 15, 2018.



IPE Outstanding Activist Scholar: Call for Nominations

Members of the International Studies Association are invited to nominate a candidate for the Outstanding Activist Scholar Award (OAS). Nominations using this form may be sent to Committee Chair: Hasmet Uluorta ( by April 26, 2018 for consideration by the selection committee.
