Call for Proposals: ISSS-ISAC Springfield 2015

The International Security Studies Section of ISA and the International Security and Arms Control Section of APSA are pleased to announce our 2015 annual conference, October 8th - 10th, in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA. ISSS and ISAC, in conjunction with The Five Colleges, Inc, invite paper, panel, and roundtable proposals on any subject related to international security studies, broadly defined, and especially related to our theme of Global Trends in War and Political Violence. Proposal submissions open immediately. Please submit your proposals through the ISA submission system. The proposal submission deadline is Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Are you interested in honoring outstanding scholarship? If so, don't miss the upcoming award deadline of May 1st for the following four awards: FPA Distinguished Scholar Award; IPE Distinguished Scholar Award; J. David Singer Book Award; and, the SWIPE Mentor Award.

Call for Nominations - ISSS Best Book Award

The International Security Studies Section (ISSS) of ISA invites nominations for their Annual Best Book Award. The award recognizes the book on any aspect of security studies that excels in originality, significance, and rigor, published during the 2014 calendar year. The deadline for nominations is June 1, 2015.



Call for Nominations - ISSS Awards

The International Security Studies Section (ISSS) invites nominations for the Distinguished Scholar Award and a new Emerging Scholar Award.  Nominations are due by May 7, 2015.



Call for Nominations - ISA-Northeast Awards

ISA-NE invites nominations for the Fred Hartmann (graduate student) and A. Leroy Bennett (faculty) paper awards. Nominations should be received by May 20, 2015.
