CFP: 2nd International Conference on China’s Environmental Governance

Christopher Newport University and Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (Beihang University) announce the call for the 2nd International Conference on China’s Environmental Governance.



Join Us at the Junior Scholar Symposium

At this year's Annual Convention, we launched our very first Junior Scholar Symposium (JSS). The pilot program was an overwhelming success! A huge thank you goes to all of our participants of this initial program for making it such a fantastic experience. We're excited to say that we’ll be expanding the JSS program next year in Toronto. Junior scholars interested in participating should submit paper proposals by the June 1st deadline, marking their independent paper proposals for JSS consideration. 



ISA Welcomes Three New Sections

We at ISA are excited to announce three new Sections available for our members to join: The Global Health Studies Section; The Historical International Relations Section; and the Religion and International Relations Section. All are great additions to the already diverse collection of Sections, Regions and Caucuses that comprise ISA!



Call for Nominations: Kenneth E. Boulding Award

The Peace Studies Section of ISA invites nominations for the 2013 Boulding Award. The award was established to honor Kenneth E. Boulding, a founder of the field of Peace Studies. The Award Committee seeks a graduate student research paper delivered at the recent ISA Annual Convention. Nominations should be received by May 30, 2013.



Toronto 2014 - Submissions Open

Join us March 26th - 29th, 2014 in Toronto, Canada for our 55th Annual Convention! Proposals are now being accepted through this site with a deadline of June 1st, 2013. Our convention theme this year is "Spaces and Places: Geopolitics in an Era of Globalization". We encourage you to read the full call for papers prepared by our President, Harvey Starr.



Call for Papers: FLACSO-ISA Buenos Aires 2014

Mark your calendars! The FLACSO-ISA Joint Conference is scheduled for July 23-25th, 2014 at the University of Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Paper and panel submissions related to all areas of international studies and world politics are welcome. Particularly welcome are submissions related to our 2014 conference theme, Global and Regional Powers in a Changing World.

Please submit your proposals through the ISA submission system. Proposal submissions will open June 15, 2013. The proposal submission deadline is October 1, 2013.
