ISA Asia-Pacific 2019 Singapore Conference Program Announced!

ISA 2019 Land Acknowledgement

The Committee on the Status of Representation and Diversity recommends that all chairs and event conveners, as hosts of our annual meeting, make a land acknowledgement at the start of their sessions. A Land Acknowledgment is a formal statement that recognizes and respects Indigenous Peoples as traditional stewards of this land and the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous Peoples and their traditional territories.

SAVE THE DATE! “ISA at UNAI” CELEBRATES THE UN AND SOUTH-SOUTH COOPERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT

On Thursday, 25 April, the ISA and the United Nations will sponsor an afternoon of events around the topic of “South-South Cooperation for Development.” This will be part of the ongoing “ISA at UNAI” program to celebrate the upcoming 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. All events are free and open to the public.
