Call for Nominations - FTGS Best Graduate Student Paper Award

FTGS offers an annual award for the best feminist theory and/or gender studies graduate student paper presented at the Annual ISA Conference. The award carries a stipend of $500 and comes with a peer review by the International Feminist Journal of Politics with a prospect for publication. We are currently accepting nominations for the best paper presented at the 2019 ISA Convention in Toronto. The deadline for nominations is 21 June 2019.

ISA IDSS-KAIS Seoul Conference 2019: Registration Deadline Extended!

The early registration deadline for the IDSS/ISA-KAIS Conference in Seoul has been extended to Thursday, May 16, 2019. Be sure to complete your registration by May 16th to remain on the program.

ISA Call for Officer Nominations

The International Studies Association Nominating Committee invites members of the association to nominate candidates to be considered for offices for 2021-2022, including a president, three vice-presidents, and three At-Large Representative on the ISA Governing Council. The deadline for nominations is June 15, 2019.

Time to Submit Proposals to the ISA FTGS Programme in Honolulu!

You may have seen that the call for proposals is now live and the deadline for submissions is June 1, so now is the time to start planning papers, roundtables and panel. It would be great to have some FTGS panels that specifically address the conference theme. The ISA is also accepting some specialty proposals for a limited number of innovative panels, non-English language roundtables and career courses. The deadlines for these submissions are much sooner (innovative panels are due 15 May).

ISSS-IS Denver 2019: Call for Proposals

We are excited to invite you to Denver on October 18-19 for this year’s joint annual meeting of ISA’s International Security Studies Section and the International Security Section of APSA. All proposal submissions must be through the ISA submission software. ISA membership is not required for either proposal submission or conference attendance, though you will need to create an account with isanet.org if you do not already have one. Faculty members attending the conference will be asked to serve as chairs and/or discussants. Please indicate your areas of expertise when you submit your proposal. The deadline for paper and panel submissions for the IS-ISSS conference is June 15.
