We are delighted to inform you that the preliminary program for the ISA-South 2017 conference, to be held in Orlando, Florida, USA (October 20th - 21st, 2017), has been announced. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando in October!
Our section held a very successful conference on Cooperation and Contestation in World Politics, in collaboration with the School of Political Sciences and the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Bologna. The Conference took place in Bologna, Italy, June 28-30. We had a total of 29 sessions (1 plenary and 28 panels) with 111 participants. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues Steve Rosow and Tina Mavrikos-Adamou for all their work and assistance in the preparation of this conference. We plan to produce a book based on selected papers presented at the conference and we are in communication with a publisher who has expressed a strong interest in this project.
