Call for Proposals: ISA South Richmond 2014

The International Studies Association ISA South Region is pleased to announce our 2014 conference, October 25th - 26th, at University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, USA. ISA-South invites paper, panel and roundtable proposals for our conference. Particularly welcome are submissions related to our 2014 conference theme, Bridging Theory and Practice: International Studies in the Twenty-First Century. We wanted to inform you that we recently processed a number of changes to the program. We encourage you to review the latest program on our website. Please note as well that all papers to be presented at the conference should be uploaded to the website (isanet.org) by July 11, 2014, at the latest. As always, be sure to review the latest program as you finalize your travel plans. In addition to our many panels and workshops, we also invite you to participate in the opening ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 6:00 p.m., in the main auditorium (Auditorio) of the university.

En esta oportunidad queremos informarle que hemos realizado algunos cambios al programa final, por lo que le sugerimos que revise la última versión del mismo en nuestro sitio web.  Tenga en cuenta también que todos los trabajos de la conferencia deberán cargarse en el sitio web antes del 11 de julio de 2014. El envío de las ponencias finales se realiza a través del sitio isanet.org. Como siempre, asegúrese de revisar la última versión del programa antes de concretar sus planes de viaje. Además de los paneles y mesas de trabajo, lo invitamos también a participar en la mesa de apertura, el día 23 de julio a las 18 hs en el Auditorio de la facultad.

ISA Call for Officer Nominations

The ISA Nominating Committee invites members of the Association to nominate candidates to be considered for offices for the 2016-2017 term, including a president and three vice-presidents and three at-large representatives on the ISA Governing Council. Nominations should be sent to the ISA nominating committee using the following email: nominations2014@isanet.org. Nominations should be received by June 15, 2014.
