Call for Nominations - Gerner Grant for Professional Development

The Women's Caucus for International Studies (WCIS) invites nominations for the Deborah "Misty" Gerner Grant for Professional Development, sponsored by Lynne Rienner Publishers. Funds from this grant may be used to support any legitimate professional development identified by the candidate. The deadline for applications has been EXTENDED to October 25, 2013.



ISA South 2013 Business Meeting

Scholars from across the ISA-South region and beyond are convening next week at Queens University in Charlotte, NC for our annual conference.  On Saturday, October 19 at 5:30 pm, we will hold the ISA-S region business meeting.  At the meeting we will review the "state of the region" and discuss region-relevant matters, including the location of future conferences.  If you have an item to include on the business meeting agenda, please send it to me at

ISA NE 2013 Hotel Deadline approaching - Book Now!

We are slightly more than a month away from the annual ISA-NE conference in Providence, RI. Don't forget to reserve your room at the conference hotel, the Providence Biltmore. The hotel is recently renovated and we have secured a reasonable rate.
