The ISA-Northeast is pleased to announce that our 2022 Annual Conference, “Imagining World Futures: Exploring Alternative Visions of International Studies and World Politics in the Next 20 to 200 Years,” will be held in-person on November 4 – 5, 2022, at the Hilton Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD, with a limited virtual day on November 1, 2022. The Virtual Day will feature live, online panels and is designed to provide greater accessibility to scholars facing economic or other difficulties that may prevent attendance at the in-person conference.
We invite proposals for papers, panels, and roundtables on any subjects related to international studies, broadly defined. Please find the Call for Proposals here. The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, June 24, 2022.
Proposals can be submitted via the ISA website. Although an ISA account is needed to access the system, you do not need to be a member of the International Studies Association to submit proposals or attend the conference.
This year’s conference will feature a keynote address by Professor Jennifer Mitzen (The Ohio State University), and the annual meeting of the Northeast Scholar’s Circle (featuring Joshua Freedman, Oberlin College), as well as the Interpretive Methods workshop for graduate students and the Pedagogy Workshop for junior scholars and graduate students.
For more information, please visit our conference website.
In the meantime, do not hesitate to contact the Program Chair, Swati Srivastava (isane2022@isanet.org).
