To secure your place on the final program, you must complete your paid registration for the Conference by April 15, 2019. You can register easily on our website. You will be removed from the program if you don't register by April 15. This policy requirement is necessary to help us deal with the issues caused by late withdrawals, which create problematic holes in the program. Without that rule, last minute attrition is also much higher, and this is unfair to those on our waiting list hoping to join the program
Withdrawing from the Conference
If you are unable to attend the Conference and to participate in the roles listed in your online schedule, please contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible. To withdraw, contact ISA Headquarters or the Program Chair directly; do not contact your panel chair or other participants as they have no ability to remove you from your placements.
Book Your Hotel
Conference panels and traditional sessions begin on Monday, June 17th and end on Wednesday the 19th. We hope that you'll also join us for an opening plenary session and reception on the evening of Sunday, June 16th!
Local hotel accommodations are plentiful for a variety of budgets and easy to find on various online services. We've listed a few possibilities below for quick reference. Please note however, these are only suggestions. ISA has not contracted with local hotels for this conference.
Pay It Forward for CEEISA-ISA Belgrade
The Women’s Caucus of the International Studies Association (WCIS) is pleased to announce its mini-PIF pilot program, which brings a mentoring program designed for female-identifying graduate students and early career faculty within the International Studies profession to the regional and international ISA conferences. Established female-identifying scholars serve as mentors for the early career scholars through a mentoring luncheon for select participants and two panels held during the conference itself. The purpose of the mini-PIF is to create enduring connections among scholars that benefit both mentors and mentees, professionally and personally.
To apply to become a program participant, please send a CV and short statement (no more than 300 words) on your reason for applying to the program to the Belgrade WCIS mini-PIF coordinator, Annick Wibben, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
