ISA-South Ashland 2018 - Call for Proposals

Reminder: The deadline for paper and panel submissions for the ISA-South conference is Friday, July 6th. The conference will be held October 12th - 13th at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, USA. For more information go to
Graduate Student Paper Awards:  Graduate students are invited to participate in the ISA-South Jim Winkates Graduate Student Paper Award competition sponsored by the ISA-South Region of ISA. For more information go to
Travel Support: ISA-South, on a competitive basis, provides travel support for ten graduate students up to $200.00 and for two adjunct faculty members up to $300.00 to attend the International Studies Association/Southern Regional Conference on October 12th and 13th, 2018. In order to receive travel support you must, (1)  be a member of the International Studies Association, (2) attend the ISA-South 2018 conference, (3) present a completed paper at the conference and send a request to no later than July 6th, 2018. You will be notified by the program chair via e-mail if your request for travel support has been approved.
