Announcement: FLACSO-ISA Pedagogy Workshop

Applications are now being accepted for the FLACSO-ISA Pedagogy Workshop to be held at the Joint International Conference in Quito, Ecuador July 25-27, 2018. The workshop is intended for scholars on the job market or who are preparing for pre-tenure/tenure reviews. Participants work in small groups and individually with experienced mentors to engage with collaborative learning techniques, workshop syllabi and to polish statements of teaching philosophy. Applicants should send a CV, a syllabus (preferably for a course to be offered in the near future) and a statement of teaching philosophy to by January 15, 2018. Participation in the workshop is compatible with additional conference activities and the Program Chairs will schedule participants’ successful paper or panel proposals for other conference slots.
