Religion and International Studies Section Distinguished Book Award

Religion and International Studies (REL) invites nominations for the section's annual Distinguished Book Award.
The award committee - consisting of Vendulka Kubalkova (University of Miami), Dilshod Achilov (University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth), and Runa Das (University of Minnesota, Duluth)- welcomes books from any discipline that advance our understanding of religion and international studies.
Books must have been published in 2015 or 2016. At least one author must be a current member of ISA. Nominations and books need to be sent to all members of the committee by August 25th, 2016, and all nominations must be accompanied by a short cover letter (1-page at most) that discusses why the book is nominated for the award. Self nominations are welcome.
