FTGS Graduate Student Paper Award Recipient

The Feminist Theory and Gender Studies (FTGS) section is awarding the Graduate Student Paper Award 2015 to Nicole Sunday Grove, formerly of Johns Hopkins University and now at University of Hawai'i at Manoa. The paper is titled 'The Cartographic Ambiguities of HarassMap: Crowdmapping Security and Sexual Violence in Egypt'. The award will be conferred at the FTGS reception and award ceremony at the ISA Annual Convention 2016 in Atlanta, USA. The Committee is grateful to everyone who nominated a paper for consideration; the field was very strong again this year and it was a pleasure to engage with and celebrate such excellent, and diverse, feminist scholarship.
