ISA Celebrates Earth Day 2015

The International Studies Association is making efforts to create a sustainable tomorrow. We hope that by reducing unnecessary printing and shipping we can contribute to a greener world and a significantly reduced carbon footprint, as well as help facilitate better services for ISA members. Join us in working to tread more lightly on the earth and build a greener future. Our efforts include the following:

  • 100% online Exhibitor, Advertiser & Sponsorship application process
  • 100% Energy-Star certified audio-visual equipment
  • 93% paperless conference participant online registration process
  • posting annual convention program & panel schedule online
  • receiving the printed program is now optional for Annual Convention participants
  • recycle and reuse all electronic hardware
  • paperless travel grant receipt submission
  • recycling bins for ISA programs & waste at Annual Convention
  • paperless membership renewals (no more bulk postal mailings!)
  • online access now the default delivery method for journal subscriptions
We will continue to try to improve our environmental profile in many other ways as well, including actions to further green our Annual Convention and Headquarters practices. Happy Earth Day!
