ISA Nominating Committee Report 2013

After careful deliberation, the International Studies Association Nominating Committee (Lisa Blaydes, Mark Crescenzi, Robert Denemark, Martha Finnemore, Scott Gartner, David Kinsella, Deborah Larson, and TJ Pempel) unanimously agree on a single slate of candidates for ISA officers: Paul Diehl for president; Kurt Mills (Glasgow/UK), Aseem Prakash, and Laura Sjoberg for vice presidents.  We also solicited nominees for at-large representatives from outside the recognized ISA regions.  Our charge is to forward at least five candidates for three positions.  We recommend the following five names: Scott Gates (PRIO/Norway), Birger Heldt (Folke Bernadotte Academy/Sweden), Juliet Kaarbo (Edinburgh/UK), Nizar Messari (Al-Akhawayn, Morocco), Isak Svensson (Uppsala/Sweden). Candidate CVs are linked above and the full report is available for download and review by ISA members prior to the election in November.
