The THEORY Section is soliciting nominations for awards to be presented at ISA 2017 in Baltimore: The Theory Section Paper Awards, the Theory Section Book Award, and the Theory Section Edited Volume, Special Issue, or Symposium Award.

The ISA Theory Section would like to solicit nominations for the Theory Section Distinguished Scholar Award, which is given annually to recognize a scholar's lifetime contribution to international theory.

The ISA Theory Section seeks nominations for its executive board; at our Business meeting at ISA 2016 in Atlanta, a new Vice-Chair, Treasurer, and Graduate Student Representative will be announced. Email nominations for each of the positions should be made to Kathleen PJ Brennan at kpjbrennan@gmail.com. We welcome self-nominations. Those nominating a third party should get their express permission first.

The ISA Theory Section announces that the winner of the 2013 Best Book Award is Patrick Thaddeus Jackson, for The Conduct of Inquiry in International Relations: Philosophy of Science and its Implications for the Study of World Politics, Routledge, 2011.
