The Publications Committee of the International Studies Association (ISA) and the Executive Committee will make a recommendation to the ISA Governing Council regarding the assignment of editorial duties for Oxford Research Encyclopedia of International Studies (http://internationalstudies.oxfordre.com/) at the 2019 annual meeting in Toronto. The individual or team selected to serve as editor(s) of OREIS will hold that position for a five-year term January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2024. There will also be some transitional duties during late 2019.

The individual or team selected to serve as editor(s) of JoGSS will hold that position for a five-year term January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2024. There will also be some transitional duties during late 2019.

ISA offers several awards given to recognize outstanding scholarly contributions to the field of international studies. These awards have different committees, nominating procedures and submission deadlines. They recognize outstanding papers, books, achievement, and service awards. ISA will be hosting its first Pressing Politics panel. You get to choose the current events issue and nominate experts for this panel. The panel will be held on Thursday, April 5th, at 4pm in Union Square 21, Hilton San Francisco Union Square.
