This year’s annual security studies conference sponsored by the International Security Studies Section of ISA and the International Security and Arms Control Section of APSA will be held October 13-14, 2017 at American University’s School of International Service. The conference will offer discussions on a wide range of security issues including sources and consequences of conflict, military effectiveness, civil-military relations, alliances and security institutions, non-traditional security challenges, terrorism, intervention, peacebuilding and peacekeeping, and the political economy of violence, among others.
