The International Studies Association invites nominations (including self-nominations) for the Annual Deborah "Misty" Gerner Innovative Teaching in International Studies Award. This permanent ISA award honors the legacy of Misty Gerner as not only a fine scholar, but also as a passionate and dedicated teacher. Nominations are due by October 15th.

The Theory Section of ISA announces that the deadline to submit nominations for the Best Paper Awards has been extended to September 1st.

The Karl Deutsch Award Committee encourages ISA members to submit nominations for the Award, which recognizes scholars under the age of 40 or within 10 years of defending their dissertation.  The Award is presented to a scholar who is judged to have made (through a body of publications) the most significant contribution to the study of international relations and peace research. The deadline for nominations is August 1st.
The Peace Studies Section of ISA invites nominations for the 2013 Boulding Award. The award was established to honor Kenneth E. Boulding, a founder of the field of Peace Studies. The Award Committee seeks a graduate student research paper delivered at the recent ISA Annual Convention. Nominations should be received by May 30, 2013.
The International Political Sociology Section announces a call for nominations for the Best Paper Award. Instituted in 2012, this award is designed to recognize “best graduate student paper” presented at the previous year’s convention in an IPS (co-)sponsored panel.
