New European data protection rules are rolling into place via GDPR (EU's General Data Protection Regulation) that impacts how ISA handles your data. We are implementing changes throughout ISA systems to safeguard all of our members, participants, and users worldwide.

The International Studies Association Nominating Committee invites members of the association to nominate candidates to be considered for offices for 2020-2021, including a president, three vice-presidents, a treasurer, and three At-Large Representative on the ISA Governing Council. The deadline for nominations is June 15, 2018.

ISA offers several awards given to recognize outstanding scholarly contributions to the field of international studies. These awards have different committees, nominating procedures and submission deadlines. They recognize outstanding papers, books, achievement, and service awards. Awards are only available to current ISA members. Find a complete list of the 2017-2018 Awardees here!

Representing over 100 countries, ISA has more than 6,500 members worldwide and is the most respected and widely known scholarly association in this field. Endeavoring to create communities of scholars dedicated to international studies, ISA is divided into 6 geographic subdivisions of ISA (Regions), 29 thematic groups (Sections) and 4 Caucuses which provide opportunities to exchange ideas and research with local colleagues and within specific subject areas.
