We're excited to invite you to attend our Early Career Scholar's Reception, scheduled for Thursday, February 23rd from 8:15 - 10:00pm in the Holiday 3 at the Hilton Baltimore. The reception is open to all graduate students and recent PhDs. We'll have some snacks and a cash bar will be available. This is a great opportunity to connect with scholars from around the world.

This series of thematic panels is a result of ongoing efforts by ISA members to address the systemic roots of marginalization, discrimination, and violence within ISA, the profession and the world. In addition to addressing their core themes, sessions will provide an opportunity to discuss the current global political context and its impact on our work as scholars and activists.

You can look up the email address of participants on your panels when viewing a panel's details in our online program or from your schedule. To contact your panel, go to the panel details in the online program (or click on the item in your schedule). There, you will see an "Email Participants" option that will create a comma-separated list of the email addresses of participants on your panel. You can then copy this list and paste it into your email provider. We recommend that you to contact your fellow panelists and either email them a copy of your paper directly, or tell them when you have uploaded it to the archive.

If you will be helping run a panel, you can also learn about being a chair or discussant at ISA. Click here for more details.

We handle paper uploads directly through our website . You will find the option to upload your paper on your personal schedule page. Please note that we only accept PDF files and that they can be no more than 10mb in size.

ISA policy requires a PDF copy of each paper presented at the convention to be uploaded to the archive. This year, to give discussants, chairs, and fellow panelists time to read, we ask that participants upload papers by February 13th, 2017

Accessing Papers

To access papers uploaded to the archive, simply browse ISA's online program. When you find a paper you're interested in, click the [+] icon and then "Full Details" to bring up its full profile. For presentations with a paper in the archive, you will see the option to "Download" the paper with a "PDF" icon. If a paper has not yet been uploaded, it will say "(No Paper Uploaded)".

We write with an update about remote participation options and travel concerns for our Annual Convention in Baltimore in two weeks.
