Now that we all have hopefully recovered from a stimulating, but exhausting, week in Baltimore, it makes sense to mention a number of highlights and outcomes from the annual meeting.

Posters are visual communication tools that serve as a starting point for in-depth conversations. An effective poster will attract attention and acquaint participants with the fundamentals of your project or study quickly and easily. Putting together a research poster can be a daunting task, especially if you've never done so before. In conjunction with students at the University of Connecticut Digital Media and Design department, we've put together a few tips for how to create an effective and compelling research poster. We hope you'll check out the video and share your own suggestions, and help us make this a great resource!

We're working with a student team to document participants' experience at ISA 2017 in Baltimore, as well as craft additional resources for the ISA website and the Professional Resource Center. Stop by and say hello, see what we're up to, and maybe even take a turn in front of the camera.

Make your own plans to join the UConn DMD student team as they document the #ISA2017 experience!

We plan to have almost 6,000 people join us in Baltimore this year. If you can, arrive early to check-in to beat the crowd. Take a look at our At the Convention page for hours, information and things to do in Baltimore.

Safe travels, and we'll see you at our 58th Annual Convention!
