The International Studies Association is pleased to announce our preliminary program for the ISA 2016 Annual Convention in Atlanta, Georgia from March 16-19, 2016. Please note: program notifications will be going out over the course of the day- thank you for your patience!

Registration for the convention is also open. Don't forget to complete your registration by October 23, 2015 to confirm your participation in the program. We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta!

ISA is now accepting reservations for meetings, receptions, and non-panel events for the ISA 2016 convention. Deadline for submissions and catering orders is December 1, 2015. Availability is limited so schedule soon (before we run out of space at the HQ hotel). Proposals for the Research Workshop grant program are due July 31, 2015. ISA has two Research & Workshop Grant programs: Venture Research Grants, which support pioneering research, are worth up to $25,000; and Catalytic Research Grants, which support innovative approaches to established research topics, are worth up to $10,000.
Alexander B. Downes, Associate Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at The George Washington University, has been named the 2016 recipient of the International Security Studies Section (ISSS) Emerging Scholar Award.  This newly created, annual award is meant to recognize scholars under the age of 45, or within fifteen years of receiving their PhD, who are judged to have made (through their body of publications) the most significant contribution to the field of security studies.

We invite paper, panel and roundtable proposals related to all areas of international studies and world politics.
