The "ISA Annual Best Book Award" will be conferred next March in Atlanta for the best book in the field of international studies with a 2014 copyright. 

Individuals, authors, departments, and publishers may submit a nomination.  Nomination statements for the award should be sent to the committee chair, Ralph Carter (, by April 1, 2015.  BE ADVISED: This is a deadline change from previous practice and is dictated by the need to speed up the process of getting nominated books to the committee members in a timely fashion. 

It is the nominator's responsibility to contact the publisher and request that copies of the nominated title be sent as expeditiously as possible to each of the committee members, along with one copy to ISA HQ (  The deadline for copies to arrive is June 1

The recipient of the award must be a member of the association at the time of the award and will receive $500, along with an award plaque, and will be automatically nominated for the ISA Book of the Decade Award.
