Meeting Space Catering and Technology Options

Please note: Reservations for meeting space and catering are placed at the Sheraton Centre Hotel or the Hilton Toronto based on availability as of the date of application.

The Sheraton Centre and the Hilton Toronto hotels offer many amenities to guests and attendees. ISA has negotiated discounted rates at these hotels on your behalf. Please see below for options available at each hotel.

Internet, Audio-Visual and Technology Options

Panel rooms are equipped with the following:

  • LCD Projector
  • Laptop Computer (Windows-based)
  • Adobe PDF Reader and Microsoft PowerPoint (Office 2010) software

Software capabilities are limited to Powerpoint reader and Adobe reader ONLY. The reader software can accommodate presentations created in Microsoft or Mac formats. Presenters will not be able to use their own laptop computers since the audio visual setups in the meeting rooms MUST NOT be changed in any way. Presenters must bring their Powerpoint or Adobe presentations on a flash drive and insert the flash drive into the ISA netbook computer at the start of the presentation.

ISA partners with PSAV and our hotels to bring technology options to our meeting spaces. If you are an affiliate, please use the meeting space application form to indicate what kind of technology options you'd like to purchase for your event. Should you wish to add to/alter an existing reservation, please contact Jeanne White. Internet is not provided standard in the hotel meeting rooms. Discount prices are available only if ordered by the deadline. Contact information to order internet at each hotel will be available in January, 2019

Event Promotion and Signage

If we have your application and event details by December 1st, 2018, then you have the option of having your event included in our printed program. We will also designate display tables in areas near the Convention Registration counters for the purpose of advertising events or distributing pamphlets or announcements. Please note, however, that posting of flyers or announcements in public areas of the hotel is strictly prohibited due to our contracts with the hotels.

For a small fee, ISA can provide a sign for your event that matches our signs used throughout the convention. Signage is setup as part of the application process. Please contact Jeanne White if there are any changes needed. Additional charges for signage will apply for events booked/changed after December 1st.
