ISA is a pleased to provide assistance to eligible attendees of our Annual Convention. 

Please Note: You are not required to register for the Convention or be an ISA Member to apply for a virtual facilitation grant. However, if you receive a grant you will be required to register for the Convention by our February 1, 2021 registration deadline. You also must be a member to receive the virtual facilitation grant reimbursement funds. 

Virtual Facilitation Grant Policies

ISA has many policies for virtual facilitation grants. Here are the key things to know:

  • In order to receive the virtual facilitation grant funds after the Convention, you need to be a current ISA Member. 
  • Virtual facilitation grants are not available for honoraria to senior scholars or policy makers.
  • Support is for applications who have not received funding from ISA during the past two years.
  • You need to provide electronic receipts of your eligible expenses.
  • You must check in with the Travel Grant Coordinator during the Convention.
  • Deadline: December 15, 2020
  • Virtual facilitation grants will be distributed within 30 days after the convention ends.

Eligible expenses for virtual facilitation grants:

  • Child and elderly care costs
  • WiFi and internet connection fees (hot spot)
  • Costs of purchasing technology (laptop/PC accessories)
  • Costs of renting technology (laptop rentals)
  • Costs of purchasing hardware/software
  • Auxiliary aids/services for individuals with hearing or vision impairment
