Participation Information for ISA 2021

Welcome to ISA's new Participation Hub!

We are delighted to launch this new way of connecting our participants with the ISA 2021 Program Team and ISAnet.org.

From here you can (1) see where you've been accepted onto the Program, (2) check out details about your placement(s) - when, what, and with whom - and (3) confirm your participation and/or withdraw from specific roles before December 15th.

How to Use It

  1. Click on "ISA2021" below to expand your participation list for ISA 2021.
  2. Select Yes (Confirm) or No (Withdraw) to the right of each of your participations, as per your preference.
  3. Looking for more detail? Click on the Details button under the participation listing - you'll be presented with a pop-up and will able to see your fellow session participants and the program item details (and you can opt to confirm or withdraw from this window too).
  4. You're all set! Next steps - head to browsing the program and start building your schedule, or complete your registration payment.

Points of Note

  1. The ISA2021 listing below only contains items on the program. Don't see one of your proposals? It's not on the program but currently remains on the waitlist (unless you tell us otherwise).
  2. If you're a non-attending coauthor (you won't be presenting or attending the Convention but one of your fellow authors will register and present on your behalf), let us know at systems@isanet.org and we'll make sure your name remains on the paper and we don't send you registration reminders.
  3. Already confirmed but not able to join afterall? No problem, you can edit your confirmed response through December 15th.
  4. If you withdraw, we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to reinstate you - as the PCs will be filling holes throughout this process.
  5. The Program Team worked hard to provide equal scheduling considerations to all 6800 participants but if there's an issue with your time, let them know (isa2021@isanet.org) and they'll see what might be feasible.
  6. All Convention times in the program PDF are listed in U.S. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT, UTC-04:00). Session codes for each panel/roundtable start with the letter of that day, followed by the block letter, and then the room code. So, "WA89" is the 89th session in the A block (8:00 am EDT) on Wednesday.
  7. In the listing below, we are working to show conference times in your local time. If there is any confusion or concern, please refer to the panel slot code and the panel schedule to verify your slotted time - or reach out to us and we're happy to confirm.

The deadline to confirm your participation is December 15th.

If you haven't confirmed your participation with us by December 15th, we'll drop the unconfirmed roles from the program - but please don't wait till then! We would love to have you join us and participate in ISA2021 but if you're not able to, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make arrangements for others to join in.

Have Questions/Concerns/Feedback?

nbsp;

This is an entirely new part of our system - designed based on requests from our participants in recent years. We're pretty excited about it and think you'll be too. In addition to your ISA2021 participation, we've got your past conference record information as well - in beta (test) mode. Feel free to review it, though you won't be able to make adjustments direct like you can for ISA2021. If you see something that doesn't look right or you want to share feedback on this new feature, please let us know.

ISA2021 Schedule

Our virtual convention will look a bit different this year. To better facilitate participation across our global membership, we have extended panel sessions to run from 8am to 10pm EDT and will run nine blocks of sessions each day (with the last day being a half day). These are the A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I blocks. Session codes for each day then start with the letter of that day [T=Tuesday, W=Wednesday, R=Thursday, F=Friday], followed by the block letter, and then the room code. So, "WA89" is the 89th session in the A block (8:00 am) on Wednesday.

  • "A" slots: 8:00 am - 9:15 am EDT
  • "B" slots: 9:30 am - 10:45 am EDT
  • "C" slots: 11:00 am - 12:15 pm EDT
  • "D" slots: 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm EDT
  • "E" slots: 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm EDT
  • "F" slots: 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm EDT
  • "G" slots: 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm EDT
  • "H" slots: 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm EDT
  • "I" slots: 8:00 pm - 9:15 pm EDT
