Our Program Chairs and Section Program Chairs will spend this summer crafting the ISA 2020 Honolulu Annual Convention. The Program will be announced late September. In the meantime, proposal are still be accepted. Submit your proposal by June 1, 2019 to be considered for placement on the ISA 2020 Annual Convention Program.

Our Panel Schedule

In Honolulu, ISA will run five blocks of sessions each day. These are the A, B, C, D, and E blocks. Session codes for each day then start with the letter of that day, followed by the block letter, and then the room code. So, "TA43" is the 43rd session in the A block (8:00 am) on Thursday.

  • "A" slots: 8:00 am - 9:45 am
  • "B" slots: 10:00 am - 11:45 am
  • "C" slots: 12:15 pm - 2:00 pm
  • "D" slots: 2:15 pm - 4:00 pm
  • "E" slots: 4:15 pm - 6:00 pm

The International Studies Association

Representing over 100 countries, ISA has more than 6,500 members worldwide and is the most respected and widely known scholarly association in this field. Endeavoring to create communities of scholars dedicated to international studies, ISA is divided into 7 geographic subdivisions of ISA (Regions), 29 thematic groups (Sections) and 4 Caucuses which provide opportunities to exchange ideas and research with local colleagues and within specific subject areas.
