Half-day trip to Bled

Bled is one of the most attractive tourist locations in Slovenia, located at the southern part of Karavanke mountains. The particularity of Bled is the small island rising from the centre of lake Bled. In the past Bled was considered as some sort of a ‘resort’ of the Brixen bishops, while in the first Yugoslavia it became the summer residence of the Karađorđević royal family. Later on, in Socialist Yugoslavia, Bled was the summer residence and a beloved getaway spot of Josip Broz Tito.
