ISA-Human Rights Section announces a travel grant for a scholar from the developing world to support travel to present at the ISA Annual Convention, funded by Oxford University Press Journals on behalf of the Journal of Human Rights Practice and the International Journal of Transitional Justice.
The ISA Human Rights Section is pleased to announce a travel grant in the amount of $500 to support a scholar traveling from the developing world to present a paper at the 2010 Annual Convention of the International Studies Association in New Orleans. This grant is funded by Oxford Journals on behalf of the Journal of Human Rights Practice. Applications are welcome from ISA members fitting these criteria and presenting a paper on a panel sponsored or co-sponsored by the Human Rights Section. We ask that you indicate the location from which you would travel and the rough distance to the conference site and estimated costs, and whether you have other sources of funding. Priority will be given to graduate students and junior scholars. Please also confirm that you have pre-registered for the convention.
