On Thursday 27 March 2008, ISA President-Elect Nils Petter Gleditsch gave his keynote address "The Liberal Moment - 15 Years on" at the 49th Annual Convention of the International Studies Association (ISA) in San Francisco, California. Dr. Gleditsch now takes over as ISA President, and will be responsible for organizing the 50th convention in New York City, 15-18 February 2009.
