Welcome to the website for the 2009 ISA - ABRI Conference in Rio de Janeiro and thank you for your commitment to serve as a participant during the convention. The convention theme is: Diversity and Inequality in World Politics. This website will serve as a resource for information about your role as a program participant and will provide critical information about the upcoming meeting. Be sure to visit this site often in the months and weeks prior to the convention as additional information will be added. Please browse the site using the menu to the left.

The conference will be convened at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro’s campus (PUC-Rio). PUC is in the Gavea district. Our conference hotels are in the Ipanema and Leblon areas. Please see this map for a view of the local area and this map of the campus.
