The ISA Paper Archive is an effort to compile the papers presented at our annual conventions and international conferences. Each convention has a separate archive.
Archive Instructions for Presenters
Instructions for how to login and upload papers will be sent by e-mail to all paper presenters in March 2013. You may upload in the following format: Adobe PDF. Paper presenters are responsible for providing copies of their paper to their panel at least one week prior to the meeting and uploading their paper to the online paper archive.
How To Upload Papers:
To upload your paper, go to your "My Program" area in MyISA (login required).
- Click the "Upload Your Paper!" tab (Note, this only shows if you have a paper or poster on the program. Helpful graphic here, it's the third tab on the horizontal menu.)
- Click the "Upload a File" link next to your paper title.
- Click "Browse" to find the .PDF file on your computer.
- Click "Upload File"
- You will now see your paper listed
- You can upload new versions if you make changes closer to the convention. ISA will keep your past versions, but only make the most recent one available.
Panel chairs, discussants, and participants in roundtable discussions are not expected to upload papers.
Archive Instructions for Browsing the Archives
The archives hosted by All Academic and CIAO are free and open to the public, no login is required to browse those archive. Abstracts are posted for all the papers and then authors are invited to upload their papers. The archive for our 2012 Annual Convention in San Diego is hosted in MyISA, a login is required to access those papers.
If a paper has been uploaded, it will be linked to a PDF file that you may view or download to your computer. If there is no link, they did not post a paper, and you may use the All Academic archive's people search (top menu, center tab) to locate their contact info and request a copy.
A Note About MyISA Hosting - How to Search The Archive in MyISA: The paper archive for our 2013 San Francisco Convention is hosted in MyISA and a login is required to both upload papers and to browse the archive. The archive is not accessible to the public but is open to system users. There is no charge or membership required to create a user account and browse the archive.>
You may use the search box in the Full Program area to search by name or keyword. Here is a direct link (login required) to the Full Program.
The best search approach is to click on the third option (Search for Program Items) and then use search terms that may appear in the paper title or in the paper abstract. Once the search results are displayed, click on DETAILS on the left and this will launch a pop-up with the paper info. The PDF icon should appear in the upper right corner if the author has uploaded a paper. If you do not see the PDF icon, then the author has not uploaded a paper.
If you know the name of the author, then use the second option - Search for People.
Paper presenters are responsible for providing copies of their paper to their panel and uploading their paper to the online paper archive at least one week prior to the meeting.
