ISA Annual Convention, New Orleans, 2010
Welcome and thank you for your interest in our convention.
ISA is implementing a new conference management system called MyISA that will make things easier for everyone. If you used MyISA to submit your proposal last year, please login to the system and proceed. If you are new to MyISA, we have provided the following information to walk you through the process.
MyISA Account Access
- Current/Active Accounts: If you already have a MyISA account, go ahead and log in, you will find a "Conferences" tab on the top horizontal menu and a Convention New Orleans 2010 link on the right sidebar menu. Use the My Submissions link on the right menu to begin the process.
- Creating An Account: If you are NEW to MyISA, creating an account is free. Click on the "Create an Account" link to register. There is no charge, we simply do this to provide you with one place where you can interface with ISA. Just let us know what you want your user name and password to be (they must be at least six characters long) and you will be ready to go. Once you sign in as a MyISA user, you can view your submissions as well as the full conference program. You can also register for the conference.
- Resetting Password: If you FORGOT YOUR Username/Password MyISA will help you. Click the "Forgot Username/Password" link below the login box. The system will ask you for your email address and whether you need a password reset link or your username. Just select accordingly and click Ok.
Registration
- You MUST register for the conference. If you are not registered, you will be dropped from the program.
- Member Registration: ISA members pay reduced registration fees. However, to register as a member, you MUST BE A MEMBER AT THE TIME OF THE CONFERENCE. MyISA will look at your registration history and give you your membership options accordingly. If you are a member but do not see "Member" or "Student Member" as an option, it is because your membership expires by the time of the conference. You will have to renew before you can register at the reduced rate.
- Realize that you will save money by becoming a member before you register. In the case of student members, the costs and savings are such that an online membership is effectively free. Be sure to consider membership before registering for the conference.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need a MyISA Account: Yes, we know this extra step can be frustrating, but you only need to do it once. Afterward, you will be able to log in and handle everything you do with ISA, including conference submissions and registrations, as well as membership purchases.
- What do I need to use this site: MyISA requires cookies and javascript. The site has been tested in both Internet Explorer and Firefox.
- Who can I contact for help: The ISA staff is on-hand to answer your questions, we know that this new system will cause some confusion, contact us at isa@isanet.org.
