We recently transitioned to the new MyISA membership and convention management system, this will allow you to manage your interaction withISA from one convenient website. We have provided the following helpful instructions on how to setup a user name and password on the MyISA system:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING AN ACCOUNT
- CURRENT AND FORMER MEMBERS:
Since this is a new system, you will need to create an account on the
system, even if you are already an ISA member or used to be a
member. You will need your e-mail address (the one we have on file) and
your member number to set up an account. The system has a member number
lookup if you don't know your member number. Click HERE
to go to MyISA and then click CREATE AN ACCOUNT to begin the process:
- Enter your member ID number and e-mail address in the proper fields
- Tell us what you would like your new user name and password to be under the Your New Login Account fields. The username field can contain only letters and numbers from the western character set (a-z, 0-9) and no spaces. The password field should take any standard character including comma, dot, question marks, etc.
- The final step is to confirm the validation e-mail sent to you by clicking on the link in the e-mail.
After you have created an account you will be able to review and edit your member profile, add section memberships, submit paper and panel proposals, apply for travel grants, and register for conventions and conferences.
Warning: Do not create another account if you already have an account in the MyISA system, it will not be associated with your member data. - NEW MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS: Click HERE to go to MyISA and then click CREATE AN ACCOUNT to begin the process:
- Select NO from the drop-down menu (since you are not an ISA member) and enter requested information.

The password field should take any standard character including comma, dot, question marks, etc.

RESET YOUR PASSWORD
If you already have a MyISA account but you forgot your password, the system is designed to allow you to quickly create a new password. On the MyISA home page, just under the login box, look for the link that says Forgot Username/Password and click that link. A text box will appear inviting you to enter your e-mail address. Do that, and then select the link that says I need a new password. This will prompt the system to send you an e-mail containing an link that you will use to create an entirely new password. The password should be at least six characters long and the form will take any standard character including comma, dot, question marks, etc.
Please note that the system is designed to send this to your official e-mail address, the one you used to create your MyISA account. Please contact ISA if you no longer have access to that e-mail account.
FORGOT YOUR USER NAME
If you already have a MyISA account but you forgot your user name, the
system is designed to allow you to request to have it e-mailed to you. On
the MyISA home page, just under the login box, look for the link that
says Forgot Username/Password and click that link. A text box will
appear inviting you to enter your e-mail address. Do that, and then
select the link that says I forgot my user name. This will prompt the system to e-mail your user name.
Please note that the system is designed to send this to your primary e-mail address, the one you used to create your MyISA account. Please contact ISA if you no longer have access to that e-mail account and we can change that for you. Users may add a new e-mail address to their account, but only ISA staff can change the primary account.
