The Board of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queer and Allies (LGBTQA) caucus is pleased to announce its official standing in ISA and warmly welcomes you to become a member.
Chartered at the 2010 ISA Annual Convention in New Orleans, the Caucus is devoted to:
- promoting fair and equal treatment of members of the LGBTQ community of the ISA
- combating discrimination against LGBTQ faculty, student and professional members of the ISA
- and promoting the recruitment of new members of the caucus and ISA more generally
Members may participate in all Caucus events and activities, including:
- serving on committees
- participating in the annual business meeting
- voting on officers
- subscribing to section services (may include listservs, syllabi archives and newsletters)
- helping to organize panels/papers at the annual convention
