Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queer and Allies Caucus

The Board of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queer and Allies (LGBTQA) caucus is  LGBTQA logo pleased to announce its official standing in ISA and warmly welcomes you to become a member. 

Chartered at the 2010 ISA Annual Convention in New Orleans, the Caucus is devoted to:

  • promoting fair and equal treatment of members of the LGBTQ community of the ISA
  • combating discrimination against LGBTQ faculty, student and professional members of the ISA
  • and promoting the recruitment of new members of the caucus and ISA more generally

Members may participate in all Caucus events and activities, including:

  • serving on committees
  • participating in the annual business meeting
  • voting on officers
  • subscribing to section services (may include listservs, syllabi archives and newsletters)
  • helping to organize panels/papers at the annual convention
